Mesa police on Friday arrested two men after an attempted DPS traffic stop led to a chase onto Boeing property in east Mesa.

Nicholas Lucero and Jesse Tucker, both 21, were arrested after being found hiding in bushes and a Dumpster at the Boeing facility at 5000 E. McDowell Road.

Mesa K-9 and air units were called in after Arizona Department of Public safety officers tried to pull over a green Chevy Silverado that failed to yield on the freeway. The truck came to a stop in the area of Greenfield Road and Loop 22 and two male occupants fled on food into the secured, restricted Boeing complex, jumping several barbed-wire fences.

Lucero had a felony warrant out for his arrest and was taken into custody. Tucker was booked and faces a trespassing charge.
