Fire damages planes at Mesa's Falcon Field

Investigators are trying to figure out what sparked a 1st alarm fire Sunday afternoon at Falcon Field in Mesa.

According to Mesa Fire spokesman Forrest Smith, the fire was in a large storage hangar that houses airplanes.

Smith said several planes were damaged, but there were no injuries.

Officials said a fire investigation is underway.

    I'd really like to know if the white twin in the foreground was in the fire, or if it just made for a more sensational picture??????
    Too bad about the fire, in any case.
