Chandler police are searching for a man who targets women in skirts and then touches them inappropriately when they are shopping.
According to a news relase, on June 15, a woman was shopping in Hobby Lobby, 3456 W. Chandler Blvd., when a man touched her. When she confronted him, he left the store. Police say a similar incident happened on June 5 involving a juvenile but wasn't reported to police.
"Surveillance video shows the suspect targets women in skirts who are preoccupied," the release said. "The suspect approaches his victims from behind, crouches down, and grabs his victim’s legs above the knee. The subject continues until confronted by the victim in some manner."
The man in the video is described as Hispanic, 25 to 30 years of age, about 5-foot 10-inches tall, and weighing around 170 pounds. He is clean shaven with an athletic build, and disguises his appearance with a baseball cap and sunglasses.
