He's accused of being a serial rapist and now, ABC15 has new details about the San Tan Valley teen that could be behind at least 18 attacks.
Tyler Kost, 18, was pretty outspoken to ABC15 in an email he sent to the station at the end of March, saying he was the one being threatened by an ex-girlfriend and that no one was doing anything to help him.
It appears Kost tried to convince a judge that he was the victim, filing an order of protection a few months back. That request was denied.
It's a far cry from what he's being accused of, sexually assaulting at least 18 high school students in the past three years, according to the Pinal County Sheriff's Office.
"It just scares me, I guess. He lives like right there and we're always down that street," said neighbor Maya Steil.
In a new report filed by PCSO, his accusers say his mom might have been able to stop it. One alleged victim told investigators his mom walked in while Kost was assaulting her and said he should be more discrete in the future. Another said his mom is easily influenced by him and would lie to protect him.
ABC15 reached out to Kost's parents but we have not heard back.
Kost is being held in the Pinal County Jail.
