PHOENIX (AP) — A San Tan Valley couple has been sentenced to probation in a bestiality case and ordered to stay away from animals.

Shane Walker and Sarah Dae Walker had pleaded guilty in June to conspiracy to commit bestiality.

Sarah Walker was sentenced Thursday to 2 years of supervised probation, while Shane Walker received 18 months of supervised probation.

Maricopa County sheriff's deputies have said the Walkers drove to a prearranged location with another man in February to commit bestiality with a dog. The owner of the golden shepherd was an undercover detective.

I think the publicity they are getting here is going to be far better then the probation. I mean really? Something tells me these people are now persona non gratta to family, neighbors, coworkers, etc etc.

    And the REALLY sick part?

What these "people" were doing (or trying to do) was perfectly legal here in Arizona until 2006. Yikes!
