Gilbert police are asking for information on the location of a missing 15-year-old girl.

Mia Jazlyn Willson was last seen getting off her school bus a few stops before her normal stop at 3 p.m. Monday, Sgt. Jesse Sanger said. After exiting the bus, she walked away in the Higley and Chandler Heights roads area, police said.

The smart card is missing from her cell phone and police cannot track it, Sanger said.

Mia is described as white, 5-feet tall, 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

There is no indication of foul play, but her welfare is of the utmost concern, police said. Mia’s friends have been contacted by her mother and said they don’t know where she is.

Mia has run away once before in July and hitchhiked her way to Phoenix, police said. Her mother does not believe she is heading there again.

If you have information about Mia’s whereabouts, please contact the Gilbert Police Department at (480) 503-6500.
