Mesa police used a Taser on a woman early Thursday morning near the 2000 block of North Center.

According to police, a vehicle was stopped about 1 a.m. after a call came in that the occupants were armed and were threatening people. The suspect, Rosalinda Chiago, exited the vehicle and ignored verbal commands from the officers. She put her hands in and out of her sweater and sweater pockets, according to the report. An officer, fearing for his safety, used the Taser to take Chiago into custody. No injuries were reported.

Ahhh---the benefits of multi-culturalism. Was this fine pillar of our community searching for her bi-lingual dictionary or picking the meth scabs off of her skin?
