A 53-year-old man delivering pizza was killed Tuesday when his truck collided head-on with a minivan driven by another pizza delivery man at Baseline and Extension roads in Mesa.

The driver of the Toyota pickup truck was driving westbound on Baseline, a Mesa police report stated. A 49-year-old male driver of a Kia Sedona, also delivering pizzas, but for a different business, was driving eastbound on Baseline and making a left-hand turn onto Extension when the two collided.

The driver of the Toyota was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Impairment is not suspected of the Kia driver, who suffered minor injuries. The investigation of which driver had the green light or right-of-way is still on-going.
