PHOENIX (AP) — A former Paradise Valley school bus driver has been sentenced to lifetime supervised probation for luring a minor to a Chandler park for sexual exploitation.

Maricopa County prosecutors say 55-year-old James Baker also was sentenced Wednesday to a one-year deferred jail sentence. His lifetime supervised probation comes with sex offender and mental health terms.

Authorities say Baker was accused of starting an online relationship last September with someone he believed was a 13-year-old girl.

Chandler police arrested Baker when he arrived at a city park believing he was going to engage in sex acts with the teen.

Baker was a bus driver in the Paradise Valley School District at the time of his arrest.
