Art, music and fun come together this week as Downtown Chandler hosts its monthly art walk 6 to 10 p.m. Friday.

Local band Hooked on a Feeling will perform its mix of rock 'n' roll, with a dash of country. Families can bring chairs or blankets to sit and listen, or enjoy the sound as they walk through the artists.

Artists will be set up along the sidewalks of San Marcos Place and Boston Street, as well as under the ramadas by the park. This month will feature several new artists, including Graham Tinius, who will bring his "Mason Jars And Mixing Bowls" display. Tinius combines a mix of art and practicality by carving sketches of mason jars on blocks to sell, as well as making prints of the blocks on shirts, hand towels and reusable bags. “We’re expecting the weather to be great, and to have a large turn out of artists for this month’s event, plus the band will be great!” said Marnie Brookins, event coordinator with the DCCP.
