The area in Chandler is from Elliot to Warner roads and from the Price 101 Freeway to Dobson Road.
The first area in Gilbert is from Pecos to Germann roads and from Recker to Power roads (Exceeds population thresholds in the area).
The second area in Gilbert is within an area from Baseline to Guadalupe roads and from Cooper to Gilbert roads.
The third area in Gilbert is within an area from Elliot Rd to Warner Rd and from Greenfield Rd to Higley Rd (Exceeds population thresholds in the area).
The fourth area in Gilbert is from Warner to Ray roads and from Power to Recker roads.
The area in Mesa is from Guadalupe to Elliot roads and from Ellsworth to Hawes roads.
The first area in Queen Creek is from Riggs Road to Hunt Highway/Empire Blvd. and from Sossaman to Power roads.
The second area in Queen Creek is within an area from Ocotillo to Chandler Heights roads and from Sossaman to Hawes roads.
Spraying takes place when area traps capture a high number of mosquitoes or when the mosquitoes test positive for West Nile virus.
The state has confirmed two human cases of West Nile virus this year, including one death in a patient with an underlying health condition. There have been more than 60 suspected cases.
