Three varied-length courses greet small, medium and large dogs and their owners at The Great Chandler Dog Walk, part of Chandler’s second annual Woofstock festival.

The event also features live music by four bands, shows by canine agility, flying disc and flyball teams, police K-9 demos, a pet costume parade, pet product vendors, and a pet psychic, masseuse and caricature artist. The walk and a prize raffle and silent auction raise money for the American Service Animal Society, which provides assistance dogs to disabled military veterans.

>> Woofstock will take place 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Tumbleweed Park, 2250 S. McQueen Road, Chandler. Last start time for The Great Chandler Dog Walk is at 11 a.m.; Pets on Parade starts at noon. Free admission; walk fees are $20-$25 per dog. (480) 802-9339 or chandleraz.gov/woofstock.
