People willing to wait in line for the opening of the new Krispy Kreme location in Chandler could walk away with a T-shirt and a year’s worth of donuts.

The new location at 1055 W. Chandler Blvd. will open up shop at 5:30 a.m. on Dec. 10 with a giveaway for the first 100 people in line and the first 12 people who use the drive thru.

The first person who enters the store and the first person in line at the drive thru each receive a dozen glazed doughnuts every week for a year. Numbers two through 100 who enter the store and numbers two through 12 who use the drive thru will each receive a dozen glazed doughnuts once a month for a year, and anyone who is among the first 100 in line and the first 12 in the drive thru will receive a T-shirt commemorating the event.

The company is also hiring more than 70 part-time positions to work at the store, and more information about employment opportunities and Krispy Kreme is available by visiting KrispyKreme.com.
