A Chandler plastic surgeon charged with helping run a prescription drug ring has been extradited to Arizona following his arrest in North Dakota.

Dr. James Lawrence Robrock, 55, who had been living with his sister in Fargo, N.D. for three years, was arrested and flown to Arizona earlier this week and later booked into a Maricopa County jail, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.

Robrock and three others were indicted on forgery and drug trafficking-related charges, according to a news release issued by the Arizona Attorney General’s Office March 10.

In addition to Robrock, the other three arrested were Christopher Ryan, Matthew Anthony Thierbach and Jonathan Laine Zaletel. They each were charged on seven counts, including forgery, possession of a narcotic drug for sale and identity theft.

The group used fake prescription information and aliases to acquire hundreds of prescriptions throughout Arizona and sell the drugs, according to the Arizona Attorney General’s Office.
