Teens, take time to read this week, during national Teen Read Week.

Chandler’s Hamilton and Downtown libraries will celebrate with two free events featuring  comics, dragons, and burritos.

Chandler’s event is “Picture It — The Burrito With A Dragon Tattoo,” a burrito eating, comic drawing, story writing workshop featuring Arizona author and comic artist James A. Owen. The event will be held twice, first at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Hamilton Library, 3700 S. Arizona Avenue. A second workshop will be held at the Downtown Library, 22 S. Delaware Street, 3:30 p.m. Friday. The events are free and each is limited to the first 60 attendees between 12 and 18 years of age who register at the Hamilton Library or online at www.chandlerlibrary.org
