A late-night pursuit through Chandler and Phoenix concluded with the arrest of four people allegedly involved in a drive-by shooting.

A press release sent by the department states the Chandler Police Department arrested four Phoenix residents – 27-year-old Martin Recio, 27-year-old Lonell Soliz, 24-year-old Yvette Lopez and 20-year-old Clarisa Odell – accused of a shooting on the 200 block of North Exeter Street in Chandler. Witness said the occupants of an older-model Cadillac pulled up to the house and fired multiple rounds. Among the house’s occupants at the time were three children ages 5 and younger.

Officers located the vehicle driving away from the house and pursed it through Chandler on I-10 and into Phoenix at the intersected of 43rd Avenue and Van Buren Street. Officers were then able to take the suspects into custody, and they were booked into the Maricopa County Jail.

Recio and Soliz face charges of attempted first degree murder, endangerment, drive-by shooting, possessing a weapon by a prohibited person, tampering with physical evidence and assisting in a criminal syndicate/street gang. Soliz faces an additional count of unlawful flight from a law enforcement vehicle.

Lopez and Odell were charged with one count of attempted first degree murder.
