The Chandler Unified School District has received $320,000 from the state’s First Things First program to provide scholarships for its preschool program at five schools and a limited number of private providers.
Applications are being accepted for children who live within district boundaries, who turn 4 years old by Aug. 31 and whose family meets federal free and reduced lunch guidelines.
