For many seniors, nothing is more important than being able to continue living in their own homes, despite health issues they may be dealing with every day. But they may need something as simple as a ride to the doctor now and then to maintain their independence.

That’s where you come in. Neighbors Who Care, an organization providing non-medical assistive services to frail elderly in Sun Lakes and south Chandler, needs volunteers to drive homebound seniors to medical appointments and other errands using your own vehicle or the company van. It’s all part of the mission of Neighbors Who Care to help our seniors live in the comfort of their own homes and have the dignity of independence, according to the ad on volunteermatch.org.

Hours are flexible. To volunteer, call Eric Ehst at (480) 895-7133. To learn more about Neighbors Who Care, visit www.neighborswhocare.com.
