The Chandler Unified School District governing board will hear proposed boundary options Wednesday night for a new elementary school that will be constructed for the 2012-2013 school year.
In November, voters approved a bond measure that includes the elementary school for the southern part of the district. It will be located in the Valencia subdivision and will provide relief to nearby schools, including Ryan Elementary School.
The 4:30 p.m. study session will be held in the boardroom at the district office, 1525 W. Frye Road. Information about the proposed boundary changes to the surrounding schools will be included. For information, see www.boarddocs.com/az/chandler/Board.nsf/Public. The board will vote on the matter at a later time.

Geez, with all the layoffs, high unemployment, $2.25 BILLION+ AZ State budget deficit & educational cuts, + declining enrollments, it's nice to see "tax_&_$pend" RINO's & liberal Dimmwitcrats spending "magic $$$" they don't have. BTW, anyone check the status of the State Bonding Threshold with this 21st Century GREAT GLOBAL ECONOMIC DEPRESSION with killer-HYPERINFLATION caused by $5-$7/gal gas & diesel by this summer, hmmmm???...LOL!!!

Manini - it's obvious you watch FOX news. Congrats. Now either shut up or rewrite a coherent opinion.

Very good for Chandler! Frankly, it's refreshing to read about a school district building a school rather than another traditional, old-fashioned values, promise you everything (including higher test scores charter school opening another (money-making) branch!
