Mosquito spraying planned in Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Queen Creek

Weather conditions, circumstances and time permitting, areas of Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, and Queen Creek are scheduled for mosquito spraying midnight Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday. Spraying is conducted when area traps catch a high number of mosquitoes or when those mosquitoes test positive for West Nile Virus.

The area in Chandler is from Ray Road to Chandler Boulevard and from Alma School Road to Arizona Avenue.

The first area in Gilbert is from Elliot to Warner roads and from Greenfield to Higley roads. The second area is from Williams Field to Pecos roads and from Greenfield to Higley roads.

The first area in Mesa is from Broadway Road to Southern Avenue and from Alma School Road to Country Club Drive. The second area is from University Drive to Broadway Road and from Stapley Drive to Gilbert Road.

The area in Queen Creek is from Marsh Road to Hunt Highway Empire Boulevard and from Crismon to Ellsworth roads.
