The East Valley Jewish Community Center is seeking volunteers to help when an Anne Frank exhibit will travel to the center in Chandler.
More than 20,000 people attended the exhibit, "Anne Frank: A History for Today," when it was at the center four years ago. This time, the exhibit will be paired with "Whoever Saves a Single Life ... Rescuers During the Holocaust." That exhibit highlights instances where people fought to safeguard Jewish citizens during the Holocaust, and it's the first time the two exhibits have appeared together.
Anyone interested in volunteering is asked to attend a minimum of a 2-hour training session in early January and be comfortable speaking to groups. Volunteers may be asked to provide other support, as well.
The exhibit will run from Feb. 5 to March 5. For more information, call (480) 897-0588 or visit www.evjcc.org. The center is at 908 N. Alma School Road.
