Learn about child labor and its connection to consumer choices during Chandler Gilbert Community College's "27 Million vs. The World" event 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday in the student center pavilion on the Pecos Campus, 2626 E. Pecos Road, Chandler.

An estimated 27 million people, many of them children, are enslaved across the world. This free event features a fair-trade marketplace, biographies of child laborers, information booths about local organizations who work to stop human trafficking, and a call to action for participants who would like to volunteer.
