Sometimes, empty arms after a pregnancy loss can use something to hold.
That’s why the Perinatal Infant Bereavement Programs at Chandler Regional Medical Center and Mercy Gilbert Medical Center are seeking donations of teddy bears to help families cope. In addition to emotional and spiritual support, grieving parents are given keepsakes for their baby and a teddy bear, so the mom doesn’t leave the hospital with empty arms.
Donated teddy bears should be brand new with tags, stand approximately 18 inches tall, be soft and cuddly, and should not music boxes or make sounds. Donations are being accepted Sunday, Aug. 5 to Aug. 19.
Drop boxes will be set-up in the main lobbies of both facilities (1955 W. Frye Road, Chandler and 3555 S. Val Vista Drive, Gilbert).
For more information, call (480) 728-3134 or (480) 728-7430. To learn more, please visit MercyGilbert.org or ChandlerRegional.org.

You sir, are positively unAmerican! True Americans are there for each other in their time of need. Don't you think it just might make you hate a little bit less to do something nice for someone? Losing a baby that a woman has carried to term is extremely traumatic. Why not help ease her grief instead of spewing hatred!

My mean comment wasn't aimed at a some woman, it was aimed at dirty illegals and those without insurance who rape the health care system.
And if you think people actually want to help one another, you need to remove your head from your as$ and wake up you blind fool.
