Does your neighborhood group have something to share but you don’t know how to get the word out? You can get help with your communication needs with a workshop that teaches neighborhood groups how to use social media tools like Twitter, Facebook or electronic newsletters and invitations.
Chandler is offering Social Media 101 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 27 at the McCullough-Price House, 300 S. Chandler Village Drive. Chandler Mayor Jay Tibshraeny will host the event and share ideas of how to keep residents informed of meetings and neighborhood events.
Pre-registration is required. The class is limited to 30 students, with priority given to Chandler residents. The application can be downloaded at www.chandleraz.gov/neighborhoods
