“Enforcers” are a big part of hockey – and never more so than in this matchup.

Police officers from Scottsdale and Chandler – along with former pros and other local players — will take the ice Saturday, June 16 at 4 p.m. as the “Scottsdale Enforcers” and the “Chandler Law Dogs” square off for bragging rights.

The game is sponsored by Police Officers of Scottsdale Association (POSA) Outreach and the organization’s 907 fund, which aims to help police officers who have been injured or need assistance. The term “907” is a radio code signaled when an officer is calling for emergency assistance.

The game is at 4 p.m. at the Ice Den in north Scottsdale. Tickets are $5 at the door for ages 10 and up (under 10 free), with proceeds going to the 907 fund. A public skate will take place following the game at 6:30 p.m. for $8 per person, with a portion of proceeds going to the fund.
