The Loop 101 — also known as the Price Freeway — in Chandler will close this weekend to continue building the pedestrian bridge across the freeway.
The closure, which begins at 11 p.m. Friday and concludes at 5 a.m. Monday, will be the last one in a series and allows for the installation of safety fencing and the completion of other work to the bridge. It will affect freeway access in both directions between Ray Road and the Loop 202.
Traffic will be routed along the Price frontage roads in the area, and drivers can connect between the Loop 101 and Loop 202 at the Price Road and Loop 202 interchange.
