Chandler Regional Medical Center, a Dignity Health Member, is one of only eight recipients of the Lantern Award for Excellence in Emergency Room Care from the Emergency Nurses Association. The honor recognizes emergency rooms that exemplify “exceptional practice and innovative performance in leadership, practice, education, advocacy and research,” according to a release.

The award is given based on quality, safety, a healthy work environment and innovation in nursing practice and emergency care.

“We’re extremely proud to have been recognized for our commitment to quality and innovation in an emergency environment,” said Tim Bricker, president and CEO of Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert Medical Centers. “Our staff is committed to providing the same high-quality care to every patient, no matter the situation. This award is truly a tribute to our emergency room nurses.”
