The Chandler Chamber of Commerce recently announced the winners of its 27th Annual Community Awards and scholarship recipients.

The following winners were selected by a Chandler Chamber Community Awards Selection Committee.

• Business of the Year: Origami Owl Custom Jewelry

• Small Business of the Year: AlphaGraphics

• Micro Business of the Year: Pittsburgh Willy’s

• Community Cup: Mayor Jay Tibshraeny

• Chamber Cup (Chamber Volunteer): Camille Cisek, Sr. contracts director at Orbital Sciences Corporation and Chamber board member

• James R. Snedigar Public Service Award: Fire Captain Mike Pallas

• Chandler Cup: Infusionsoft

• Business Diversity Award: J2 Media, Jason Heinkel

• Ambassador of the Year: Ralph Guariglio, AZ Residential Realty, LLC

• Educator of the Year: Sonya Roche, special education teacher at Santan Junior High

• Administrator of the Year: Meg Gianesello, CUSD director of instructional services

• Support Staff Employee of the Year: Miguel Martinez, head custodian at Arizona College Preparatory–Oakland Campus

• Scholarship recipients to receive $2,000 toward business classes at Chandler-Gilbert Community College: Candace Dunn, Danny Ortiz and Aaron Tenorio

“We were excited to honor such exemplary leaders for their dedication and compassion to the Chandler community,” said Terri Kimble, Chandler Chamber of Commerce president and CEO.

The Chandler Chamber will honor all award recipients at the awards dinner on May 29 at Wild Horse Pass Hotel and Casino. The event costs $50 for Chamber members, $60 for nonmembers and $550 for a table of 10.
