The 21st annual Mesa Pow Wow, an intertribal American Indian gathering open to everyone, will be Oct. 29-31 at Pioneer Park, 526 E. Main St.
It will open with a prepowwow concert featuring Clan/Destine at 7 p.m. Oct. 29.
The main attraction, a dance competition with a number of categories sorted by style, age and gender, will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Oct. 30 and 11 a.m. until dusk Oct. 31. Roy Track will be the powwow’s master of ceremonies.
More than 60 vendors will offer Indian arts and cuisine throughout the powwow, and free children’s activities will be 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 30 and 31. Admission to the powwow is free.
