Shea Homes is opening two new communities, Hideaway and Ridgeview at Johnson Ranch, in San Tan Valley.
The master planned community at Johnson Ranch includes amenities such as multiple recreation centers, pools, spas, picnic pavilions, lighted tennis and basketball courts, softball and soccer fields, playgrounds, public golf course, clubhouse, catch-and-release fishing lake and kindergarten to eighth-grade elementary school.
A grand opening celebration will be held 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 23 at 28753 N. Coyote Creek Road, San Tan Valley.
Shea Homes successfully closed out 2012 with its highest home sale numbers since 2009. Opening seven new home communities last year, Shea averaged 8 home sales per week compared to the 5 home sales per week in 2010 and 2011.
