A car crash at an intersection sent two 16-year-olds to the hospital on Tuesday evening.
The cars collided at Higley and Frye roads at about 6:45 p.m. when a Dodge Neon failed to yield to a Pontiac Grand Prix, police said. The Grand Prix then smashed into the Neon’s passenger side.
Rescue crews extricated the Neon’s driver, who was flown to a hospital with serious injuries, police said. The driver of the other car was treated for a neck injury.
