The intersection of Greenfield and Chandler Heights roads will be closed Monday at 5 a.m. through Wednesdayto install pipes under the intersection.
The work is part of a $22 million project funded by bonds and impact fees.
Residents will also begin to see pipeline work along Gilbert Road, expected to begin just south of Warner Road on Thursday. Two separate crews will work along Gilbert Road in segments to install the new line from just south of Williams Field Road to Hackamore Avenue. Work is expected to be completed by late summer and will take place during non-peak workday hours. It is a $6.75 million project paid for with wastewater impact fees.
