Mesa will kick off the next building strong neighborhoods initiative Tuesday with a public meeting to outline projects in an area of northwest Mesa. The event will include results of a resident survey that help prioritize issues to be addressed through various city services. People attending the event can meet with city representatives with police, fire, code compliance, energy resources, transportation and various nonprofits. Councilman Dave Richins, who represents District 1, will also address residents.
The initiative will focus on a neighborhood between Country Club Drive and Alma School Road, and from Heather Drive to McKellips road. The meeting is scheduled at 6:30 p.m. at Whitman Elementary School, 1829 N. Grand. For more information, call (480) 644-5889.
