A trip to Arizona Mills mall in Tempe earlier this month ended in confusion and fear for a Phoenix family after one of them disappeared from a store, and has now been missing for more than 10 days, police said.

Tempe police Sgt. Dan Masters said the department’s missing persons detail is investigating the disappearance of Erica Louise Randles, 20, during the family outing July 11 to Arizona Mills mall, 5000 S. Arizona Mills Circle.

Randles went to the mall with her mother, brother, and sister. She went to a Ross department store and the others went their separate ways.

But the family couldn’t find Randles when they went to meet her.

The family reported her missing to police on July 15.

Randles is 5 feet 5 inches tall, about 185 pounds, with black hair in long braids. She was last seen wearing a blue button-down shirt, blue jeans, and black sandals. Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is urged to contact Tempe police at (480) 350-8311.
