Emily Lenz, 10, from Chandler’s Basha Elementary was selected through a public online vote as the winner of the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona 2012 Walk On! Kids’ Cooking Contest with her recipe, “Em’s Broccoli.”
“I love to cook and I thought this was a good way to show people how to make something healthy taste better,” said Emily. “I love raspberries and so I took my grandma’s recipe and added raspberries.”
