E.V. teachers win classroom gifts in OfficeMax event

Several East Valley teachers received $1,000 worth of classroom gifts last week during ‘A Day Made Better' events.

The program was sponsored by OfficeMax to surprise more than 1,000 top teachers nationwide.

The Mesa educators were: Mini Hydinger, Lowell Elementary School; Carlina Esparza-Keene, Salk Elementary School; Kay Langstaff, Sirrine Elementary School, and Cathy Thompson, Sousa Elementary School. Lisa Scafaria, a teacher at Gilbert's Harris Elementary School, was also honored.
