County to spray for mosquitoes

Several areas of the East Valley will undergo mosquito spraying midnight Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday. The Maricopa County Department of Environmental Services conducts spraying when a large number of mosquitoes are found in area traps or if mosquitoes test positive for West Nile Virus.

The first area in Gilbert is from Ocotillo to Chandler Heights roads and from Val Vista Drive to Greenfield Road. The second area in Gilbert is from Ocotillo to Chandler Heights roads and from Recker to Power roads. The third area in Gilbert is from Ocotillo to Chandler Heights roads and from Higley to Recker roads.

The first area in Queen Creek is from Chandler Heights to Riggs roads and from Hawes to Sossaman road. The second area in Queen Creek is from Ocotillo to Chandler Heights roads and from Power to Sossaman roads.

The area in the unincorporated land is from Queen Creek to Ocotillo roads and from Val Vista Drive to Greenfield Road.
