"But this was not a party to celebrate a murder...".

Excuse me....did any of you ever consider the killing of Osama bin Laden a....."
    "MURDER..." ???
Have any of you ever seen or heard the phrase...." OSAMA BIN LADEN MURDERED"... on Television or in the Newspapers or Magazines ???
    I didn't think so.

That's why I was so shocked and disgusted to read the word..."MURDER"
....even being used or considered by ...ANYONE...to describe the killing of Osama bin Laden. Does anyone think that the loved ones of the victims of the 9/11 Attacks thought of the..."EXECUTION"...by our Military of the person who caused the death of their family member(s) as a...."MURDER" ???

Maybe my post-World War II Generation still sees the World in black and white...good guys versus bad guys. Maybe we are too old to learn new tricks like..."the World is a Village"...or..."think localy and act globally"...."open borders"..."universal this and universal that".

Well, there is no "Maybe" about it Folks... I can honestly say that I don't give a rat's patootie about any Country but America. She has taken in millions of refugees from "other" Countries. She has provided aide and assistance time and time again for other Countries. She doesn't have to "apologize" for anything to anybody.

"...be supportive of each regardless of race, gender, religion, disability or political affiliation."

Except that the major religions all teach bigotry against those who believe differently...oops!

"This time we didn’t know our enemy. They resided in the mountains of Afghanistan and fled to Pakistan."

Um, the majority of them were Saudi Arabian nationals. Get your facts straight.

"Then on May 2 of this year, Osama bin Laden, the figurehead of al-Qaida and the man responsible for much of the 9/11 planning, was taken down by a team of special forces in Abbottabad, Pakistan."

Wow! You have evidence that he was behind 9/11? Because you'd be the first!

"..even though America came under attack, her ideals proved true and ultimately endured."

You mean the freedoms and ideals that were sacrificied in the name of security?
    They didn't endure so well.
