The Tempe First United Methodist Church’s Tempe summer youth mission experience will collect donations at the Chuckbox on July 5 to donate to the families of the 19 firefighters who died while fighting the Yarnell wildfire.

According to a press release, middle- and high-school students from two local churches will collect donations to give to the firefighters’ families, with a goal of raising $1,900 between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the restaurant, located at 202 E. University Drive in Tempe. The money will go to a fund set up by the United Phoenix Firefighters Association.
