Without comment the Senate on Wednesday gave preliminary approval to legislation to ban the possession and use of medical marijuana on college and university campuses.
The 2010 voter-approved measure forbids those who have legal permission to use the drug from doing so at public schools. Rep. Amanda Reeve, R-Phoenix, said that ban needs to be expanded to comply with policies of the colleges and universities that keep illegal drugs off of campuses, policies she said are necessary to qualify for federal aid.
Proponents of the medical marijuana initiative contend HB 2349 is illegal, with lawmakers powerless to alter voter-approved measures unless they advance the purpose behind the initiative. A lawsuit is possible if the governor signs the measure.

What a bunch of flaming idiots. I wonder how many dozens of our legislators one would need to harvest to get the equivalent of a whole brain????
Not only are they stupid, they are ignorant, too.
Banning medical MJ from campus might reduce the quantity of the drug there by 5%.
These people and a waste of air, skin and money.
