Married, Arizona women are sought for the 2013 Mrs. Arizona America Pageant. The pageant will take place April 5-6 at the Tempe Center for the Arts.
The 2012 pageant was held last February with nearly 20 contestants, and directors expect a larger turnout this year.
Mrs. Arizona Pageant entrants will participate in workshops and personal interviews, along with an evening stage production featuring the swimsuit and evening gown portion of the competition. A key aspect of the event is an on-stage question-answer session is themed on contestant interests, philanthropy or a cause about which they wish to generate awareness.
The woman selected as the Arizona delegate to the Mrs. America Pageant will compete against her peers from around the nation in Tucson in August.
