Things are moving along for a 10-story luxury hotel/ condominium project being built next to Chandler Fashion Center.

The first stage of Elevation Chandler, a planned mixeduse project that the developer said will combine executive-style hotel living with access to fitness, social and shopping resources, has reached about half its height.

“We expect to start sales in late spring,” said Scott Graff, the broker marketing Cielo Skyrise Residences.

The condominiums will range in size from a 792-square-foot one-bedroom to a 1,985-square -foot threebedroom and cost between $500,000 and $2 million.

A total of 27 units will be available on the ninth and 10th floors of the Renaissance ClubSport hotel, Graff said.

“It’s like checking into a fine hotel and never having to check out,” Graff said, noting residents will have access to all of the hotel’s amenities, including swimming pools, fitness center, valet parking and room service.

When completed, the entire project also will have a 15-story condominium tower and a four-story parking garage with more than 600 spaces in addition to the hotel currently under construction. Construction on the second tower is expected to begin in late summer.

Hotel completion is expected by fall 2007.

Developer Jeff Cline of Signature Properties West said crews are completing one level of concrete every eight days.

He credited his contractors and lack of rain for the quick pace, but said “it’s too early to tell” if the hotel would open ahead of schedule.

“We’re roughly two months into a 20-month schedule,” he said.

The company picked the location for its proximity to loops 101 and 202 as well as Chandler’s high per-capita income.
