Queen Creek is promoting a shop-local campaign this year by handing out prizes to residents who make purchases at any business within town limits. The shopping contest runs through Dec. 22 and rewards shoppers who make purchases of at least $25. To enter, residents must bring a receipt to town offices at 22358 S. Ellsworth Road or to the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce, 22713 S. Ellsworth Road. A drawing will be held at 4 p.m. Dec. 22, and winners will be notified by phone.

Prizes include an iPad, lunch at the Queen Creek Olive Mill, a tune-up at Sterling Services, a gift certificate to Avai Holistic Healing Center, Ray-Ban sunglasses from Target Optical and more.

Contest rules and a list of the Shop Queen Creek members can be found at www.queencreek.org.
