Scottsdale fire crews extinguished a blaze at a two-story apartment building after slightly more than an hour on Friday.
Firefighters responded to a call of smoke shortly after 5 p.m. coming from the window of a second-floor bedroom in the 8300 block of E. Vista Drive near Chaparral and Granite Reef roads, according to Tiffani Nichols, spokeswoman for the Scottsdale Fire Department.
No injuries were reported, Nichols said, and the cause of the blaze is being investigated.
