Would you jump out of plane at 13,000 feet? It was a piece of birthday cake for Flora Nell Walters.
A well-known pioneer in the East Valley real estate business, Flora recently celebrated her 90th birthday by skydiving for the first time. Her free fall was arranged by Cindy DeSanti White, an associate broker at West USA Realty.
"I don't know of a veteran Realtor in the East Valley that Flora has not impacted in some positive way and I would like to make this tribute to her for all the good she has shared to me and so many others," White said in an email to the Tribune.
So last Friday, Flora became the second oldest person to ever jump at Skydive Arizona in Eloy. She even blew a kiss to the cameraman while free-falling.
Happy Birthday, Flora!
