On July 20, Wienerschnitzels in the East Valley and beyond will donate a quarter of their sales to help the families of the 19 firefighters killed during the Yarnell Hill Fire last month.

A press release from the company states stores in Mesa, Chandler and Tempe, as well as locations Glendale, Lake Havasu and Bullhead City, will donate 25 percent of their daily sales on the 20th to the United Phoenix Firefighters Association. The organization has established a 501(c)(3) with the Prescott Firefighters Charities to raise donations that will go directly to the 19 Hotshot firefighters who died on June 30.

“Upon news of this tragedy, our Phoenix-area operators immediately banded together to assist in relief efforts for the 19 affected families during this very difficult time,” said Tom Amberger, vice president of marketing for Wienerschnitzel. “We’re proud to support the heroes who have dedicated their lives to protecting us and the loved ones they leave behind.”
