For Dorrell Edwards, the best part of waking up is being a semi-finalist in the Folger’s jingle contest.

The Mesa man, creative marketing/social media director for Gilbert’s Idol Sports & Entertainment, is one of 10 people whose coffee jingles were selected from among thousands of national entries for the final round.

Edwards and the other nine semi-finalists are now competing online to become a top five finalist who will perform June 16 at Times Square for a chance to win the $25,000 grand prize and appear in a Folger’s commercial.

You can listen to Edwards’ soulful rendition and cast your vote at www.bestpartofwakinup.com. And the best part for you: Vote and you become eligible for a $10,000 prize and daily $100 grocery gift cards.
