It's beginning to look a lot like -- spring?
Temperatures are expected to rise above normal just in time for the weekend. The National Weather Service reports the Valley could see the mercury rise to 80 and 81 on Sunday and Monday, respectively. The record on both those days is 78.
Sunny skies and dry conditions are expected for the rest of the week leading into the high temperatures. Wednesday's high will be 72 to 77, with nighttime lows in the high 30s to mid 40s. Much of the same is expected for Thursday and Friday, though nighttime temperatures will creep up to the low 50s.
Even Flagstaff will remain warm for this time of year during the next few days. Arizona's winter retreat will see temperatures in the high 50s, with lows 20 to 26. No snow is in the forecast.
