Nominations are being accepted now through June 17 for the Gabe Zimmerman Public Service Award by the Arizona We Want Institute.
The awards are named in honor of Gabrielle Gifford’s director of community outreach who lost his life on Jan. 8, 2011 while serving the citizens of Arizona. The awards are an opportunity to showcase the commitment and dedication of more than 100,000 professional public servants working at all levels of government. The purpose is to recognize those Arizonans who exemplify the importance and impact of public service.
