A Scottsdale man who is a former co-owner of a popular Tempe bar and restaurant is facing up to five years in federal prison on a charge of tax evasion, the U.S. District Attorney's Office announced Monday.

Peter S. Lebsock, 38, who served as the on-site manager and co-owner of The Trailer Park and Dos Gringos Tempe from 2002-05, pleaded guilty before U.S. Magistrate Judge Edward Voss on Monday to one count of tax evasion for 2004, concluding an investigation conducted by the Internal Revenue Service.

Lebsock will be sentenced on Feb. 9.

According to a plea deal, the tax return Lebsock filed for 2004 was fraudulent and did not include $61,754 in other revenue diverted from the corporate structure to be used for his personal benefit.
